For the first time ever. the organization Warm Hands, Warm Hearts has run out of hats to give to children. The hats are given to children coming to 3 Emergency Rooms in Northeastern Ohio. If you can at all, please take time out of your week and knit or crochet a hat(pattern of your choice, any size that a child can wear) We are acting as a drop off site for collection of the hats. While our winter has been mild it is still lovely to have a hat on your head. We look forward to seeing you! I found this simple hat pattern to share with you if it makes it easier,

Erika, how long will you be collecting hats?
ReplyDeleteWe are constanly collecting for them. In this case we made a special plea because they were totally out. I am happy to say that 30 hats were sent over this weekend. THANKS for all that helped and please remember this organization as you look for small projects over the summer. E
